Bush Elementary
London, KY
One way we have utilized Title I funds this year is to provide an additional certified teacher to reduce classroom size. Paraeducators are also hired to help meet the needs of our students. Additional monies are spent on Extended School Services, programs for students, technology, and educational enhancements.
What are your school’s top two goals for the next year?

Describe how data is used to improve student achievement and inform decision making.
Data disaggregation is the driving force at Bush Elementary. Every decision made is based on relevant data. For example, universal screeners, such as MAP and DEA, are used to form small workshop and enrichment groups. Previous year K-Prep data is used to ensure that current instructional programs are effective.
Describe your school culture and explain changes you’ve taken to improve it.
The culture of Bush Elementary is a family-like atmosphere. We take great pride in our past accomplishments and look forward to what our future holds. We strive for excellence in all aspects of our school. In the past few years we have focused on fostering strong relationships amongst colleagues. We truly feel this will strengthen our atmoshpere and keep Bush Elementary a top performing school in Kentucky.
