Likka McCauley is a Federal Programs director who has used her recent Title I school principal experience in her new role to impact system change. She was selected as a 2022 Alaska Children’s Trust “Champion for Kids,” and previously served as Vice President and President of the Anchorage Principals’ Association. She collaborates with district departments to support planning and implementation of any new or ongoing initiative, with a perspective of keeping Federal Programs and diverse student populations in mind to support staff, students, and families.
Cassie Green McLaren, an educational leader born and raised in Interior Alaska, is the Elementary Professional Learning Communities (PLC) Teacher Expert in the Anchorage School District. Cassie has 16 years of experience as a Special Educator, Elementary Teacher, and Instructional Coach in various school environments. She currently serves as the Elementary PLC Lead, supporting the implementation of PLCs in the Elementary Division. Cassie is committed to supporting academic excellence and growth for students and educators.
