DADvisory Council: Keeping Engagement of Fathers and Father Figures at the Forefront!

Discover innovative ways to engage fathers and father figures in topics of importance to Title I schools, school districts and state education agencies using the parent advisory council model. This session guides participants through the process of increasing the engagement of male role models in schools and developing a DADvisory Council. The session will also include examples of how our DADvisory Council members kept parent and family engagement timely and impactful in Title I schools during the pandemic. Follow the development and journey of the DADvisory Council and receive first-hand information from one of our DADvisory Council members on how this council is having a direct impact on the school community.
