Continuous Improvement and Compliance Monitoring: How to Use Data to Drive Supports
WATCH THE VIDEO (Video On Demand subscription required)
Washington state's Consolidated Program Review is a continuous improvement process that annually analyzes performance data, monitoring results and survey data to better support more than 295 districts across 19 different programs and focus areas. Topmost among those areas of focus are equity and civil rights requirements and protections, programs for English learners and families, and equity and access for McKinney-Vento identified students. We emphasize the policies, procedures and program management and implementation that upholds excellent education for all students and helps districts ensure that all students are safe and supported in their schools. Participants will discuss data used to identify districts for compliance reviews, provide technical assistance and drive continuous improvement across Washington state. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how to enter into or strengthen a continuous improvement cycle with their home district or state programs.
