Utilizing the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to promote IMPLEMENTATION AND GROWTH OF CULTURALLY-RESPONSIVE AND EMOTIONALLY SAFE learning environments. Participants will gain insight on how Houston ISD 7th largest district in the Nation decreased punitive exclusionary discipline practice to increase student academic performance. Participants will explore tools to address inequities in school discipline, implicit biases, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Trauma informed Practices to promote positive behavior and healthy relationships.
