Teachers and administrators were heroic in their effort to meet the needs of their students when the schools closed. Yet, we were caught by surprise and many students, including ELs, did not get their needs met. This motivating, research-based session reveals how leaders can guide teachers to be successful at engaging ELs in mathematics today and in the future. The participants will learn four tools that are successful regardless of the instruction—in the classroom, online, and through packets.
