“Against All Odds: Using Data-Driven Instruction to Enhance Student Achievement” will detail the power of data-driven instruction and how our school’s commitment to this practice consistently led to high student growth and achievement. Despite barriers including the COVID-19 pandemic, various languages spoken by students and families, and a high percentage of economically disadvantaged students, we have continued to ensure the deep learning and exceptional performance of our scholars. We will detail our initiatives and processes for data-driven instruction, ongoing collaboration and planning, instructional norms, strategic implementation of resources, high expectations and goal-setting. We will use artifacts, video clips, and Padlet to engage attendees and facilitate opportunities for them to collaborate and apply the learning. This presentation will empower and inspire attendees to leverage the power of data-driven instruction to improve student growth and achievement.
