Megan Beyer
Megan Beyer is a communications and strategic advisor who has spent much of her career advocating for arts, education and women in the economy. She is a regular panelist on the national PBS program, To the Contrary, and speaks at national and international conferences on leadership. From 2009-2013 Beyer chaired a bilateral women leaders project, Sister Republics, with the US Embassy in Switzerland exploring private sector drivers for gender equality in the workplace. For the past two years she has represented the first global gender equality certification, EDGE Certification. Appointed to the PCAH by President Obama in November of 2015 for her work in the arts and gender equality, Ms. Beyer has delivered multiple keynote addresses, and spoken on many panels on topics in both areas.
She recently joined US Secretary of Education, John King, as a primary speaker on a press call related to the new ESSA legislation, and has been requested to deliver remarks on the methodology of the Turnaround Arts program at several conferences and events since her appointment last year.
