Coordinating Services Among Title I, III and Early Childhood to Better Serve English Learners from PreK-12

This session will focus on ESSA's emphasis on the coordination among federal programs and the need to support English learners with Title I, Part A funds as well as allowance of Title III funds to be used with Pre-K ELs. Presenters will share their state's practices regarding identification of students and forging collaborative relationships between Titles I, III, and Early Childhood. They will also share examples of successful collaborative initiatives among Title I, Part A and Title III. Participants will engage in round table dialogue regarding promising practices and challenges they face in their own states.
