Our goal at Connected Class is to support learning by building communication between the classroom and the home environment through exciting games, strategies and activities. We want to help the busy educator make that connection quickly, so families can build deeper relationships with their children and support their academic success in a fun, engaging way.
Our team has developed simple two to six-minute videos that take one concept in reading or mathematics and turned it into a game using simple things like dominoes, dice, and cards. We developed activities that utilize technology and social media in a safe way to promote reading development and family connection.
Learning Link allows the educator to quickly differentiate instruction based on need and engage families into supporting that skill at home through an already made email with the video and activity card embedded. Families can open the email at home, watch a fun video with their child and engage in games. Each video provides examples, definitions and includes ways to simplify the activity or make it more challenging based on the child’s need.
Educators can track which families are engaged through their Connected Class Learning Link subscription. It gets parents and families involved in learning as well as communicating with their child on an ongoing basis.
