Presenter Policies
The National ESEA Conference is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all meeting participants and staff. All presenters are expected to understand and follow presenter policies.
In-Person Workshop sessions involve an interactive component, with the presenter(s) in-person in Austin, and the in-person audience seated in rows. In-person workshop sessions are recorded and livestreamed for viewing by the virtual audience in real time. (60 minutes)
Virtual Workshop sessions involve an interactive component, with both the presenter(s) and audience participating virtually. Virtual workshop sessions are recorded for later viewing by the in-person audience. These are solely available as standard sessions, not sponsored. (60 minutes)
PLEASE NOTE:
If your session is selected, every effort will be made to honor your session format preference. However, presentation delivery will be scheduled for the overall benefit of the Conference, and, if selected, presenters must be willing and available to present either in-person or virtually, as assigned. Final determination of the session delivery format will be announced on August 28th, when Terms & Conditions are issued to presenters of provisionally accepted proposals. Once accepted, requests to change from in-person to virtual or vice-versa cannot be accommodated. All presenters on a session must present in the same delivery format.- A sample standard session presenter Terms & Conditions agreement is included in the Proposal Submission Guidelines.
- Terms & Conditions agreements will be provided to all provisionally accepted presenters and must be signed by September 16, 2024.
- The Terms & Conditions outline all of the specifics of the presentation, including the date and time, session delivery format, a video recording release, and other binding provisions.
- Terms & Conditions language is standard for all presenters and wording cannot be revised.
- If your proposal is selected, please be certain that you are able to agree to all Terms & Conditions before signing.
