Exploring the Nuances of School Leadership Teams to Advance Goals

School leaders are a dedicated group constantly working to uphold and support the essential tasks, habits, and routines that help faculty and students to achieve and surpass established goals. These visionary leaders use school leadership team meetings to monitor and refine progress toward such goals throughout the year. Undoubtedly, this process looks different in schools throughout the country. Together, through customized conversation cards, we'll engage in discussions and brainstorming circles among participants about how leadership team meetings are used effectively in varied settings. In addition, participants will learn about and engage with a new resource. The Four Domains Goal Tuning Protocol incorporates the twelve practices within the Four Domains for Rapid School Improvement. Attendees will learn tips for use before, during, and after leadership team meetings based on the experiences of school leaders piloting the tool during the 2023-24 academic year.
