Participants will experience activities that are utilized to engage families at the school, district, and community levels. Incorporating social media, interactive games, book studies, and community partners to support students in getting READY, SET, and RACE towards success and win the Piston Grad Cup.
LaBresha Lane serves as Parent Educator for the district’s Parent Resource Center. She has been an elementary and secondary teacher and is now an inspiring children’s author.
Marilyn Bartlett serves as coordinator for the district’s Parent Resource Center. She has presented at state and national math conferences.
Rosalind Glover-Bryant is the Supervisor of Title 1 Compliance/FACE. She has over 40 years of educational experience in the areas of home economics teacher, school counselor, and homeless counselor.
Nicole Howard-Francis serves as Parent Educator with FACE. She has a special education background which contributes to her community involvement and non-profit organization.
