Nancy Benning is a Technology Resource Teacher in the Office of Title I of the Prince George’s County Public School System. Nancy earned her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland and spent 16 years working in private law firms conducting research and managing professional development for associates. For the past 10 years, as a School Library Media Specialist and Technology Facilitator, she has worked with students, teachers and administrators to implement and integrate technology in the school and classroom. In her current position, Nancy works to provide professional development for teachers and administrators with the goal to empower students to use technology in new ways to become critical thinkers and problem solvers.

As a strategic thinker who is also fascinated with ideas and collaborative tasks, I have formed implementation rollouts and timelines for large-scale programs and projects. I am passionate about education and getting school leaders and teachers excited about integrating technology into the daily curriculum. I am charged with supporting technology integration in 75 Title I schools. I also coordinate an Early Learning Program, serving over 700 kindergarten through second grade classrooms. My skills are reflective of my continuous drive for excellence. I have presented at many workshops, seminars, and trainings on innovations in education at numerous local, state, and national conferences. I have also trained and consulted teachers and school leaders in all grade levels on the use of technology integration, research-based early literacy programs, and innovation strategies for engaging students to be active learners. My strengths include the ability to adapt, create, and relate in new surroundings and fluid situations.

Meri Robinson is the Supervisor of Digital Learning for Prince George’s County Public Schools Title I Office. Meri has over 18 years of experience with developing, implementing and facilitating systemic professional development workshops in technology literacy, computer-assisted instruction and computer software to Principals, teachers, students, and parents. Over the past three years Meri has supervised several different technology implementations across 75 Title I Schools. To successfully bring together cutting edge, fast changing, continually evolving technologies such as the mobile devices and robotics into an established large scale educational system requires patience, persistence, vision, discipline, dedication, and commitment, has a dynamic, unique leadership style that showcases the creative talents of others and provides an opportunity for them to excel.
