Kim Skow
Since 2002, Kim Skow has coordinated the production of IRIS Center resources and online tools about the evidence-based instructional and behavior practices of greatest concern to today’s educators. These include interactive online learning modules, case study units, fundamental skill sheets, wrap-around resources (e.g., activities, interviews), and many others. As one of IRIS’s lead resource developers, Kim works with top researchers and content experts in the field, translating their work into practical information that educators can put to work in their own classrooms. Her co-authorship of an introductory special education textbook gives her the breadth and depth of knowledge across age groups and disability areas necessary to oversee the broad topics covered by the IRIS Center’s various product lines.
