Adyel Duran currently serves as an Education Program Specialist in the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of School Support and Accountability. In this capacity, he works with different aspects of the Title I, Part A program, including equitable services and the Bureau of Indian Education. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of Education, Adyel served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kosovo, where he taught English to primary school students. He also completed a Fulbright grant in Northern Serbia where he taught business English to university students from Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and all throughout Serbia.
