Deena Duarte Fell is Director of Educator and Family Partnerships and a former Senior Implementation Specialist with Waterford.org. Deena has supported Waterford.org partners, across the country, since 2010. Her goal is to make everyone feel comfortable and confident while learning new teaching tools and seamlessly integrating technology into everyday classroom routines. She's passionate about making life easier for educators and administrators, while also empowering families~especially new-comer families and those with students who are English learners. Deena lives in Houston, Texas, and is a certified Texas teacher with ESOL and Bilingual Endorsements. She taught 4th and 5th grades in Houston ISD, Round Rock ISD, and Lago Vista ISD. She has since worked with all grade levels, including multi-age Life Skills & Exceptional Needs classrooms, focusing on adapting technology tools to reach all learners and learning styles. She holds a BS in Communication and Spanish from McMurry University and is currently pursuing a Master's of Education in Applied Digitial Learning.
