Participants should expect to learn about foster care within the state of Texas. We will present data and provide relevant laws and policies for providing educational services to students in foster care. Information will be provided how Texas is meeting the Every Student Succeeds Act requirements and providing best strategies to participants. The participant will be able to ask questions and participate in sharing valuable knowledge of systems currently in place are working to support students in foster care.
