Transforming Compliance into a Support System: It's Okay, How Can We Help?
This presentation will provide attendees the opportunity to learn how the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Emergent Bilingual Support Division transformed their Title III, Part A desktop monitoring progress into a support system for their LEAs. TEA flipped the script on compliance to lift up direct supports to schools that has resulted in stronger supports for English learners, including their families. Attendees will hear testimonies from LEAs who have been recipients of the new desktop monitoring process. Walk away with strategies to help move the needle in establishing ongoing collaboration and partnerships to increase academic achievement and equity for English learners.
