Rachel Tabler is an assistant director in The Office of Educational Improvement and Support. She graduated with a dual undergrad from North Dakota State University and has her masters in curriculum and instruction. Before working at the state, she worked as an elementary teacher in Wyoming for nearly 10 years. At NDDPI Rachel works closely with the Specially Designed Services team, co-leads the Targeted and Comprehensive Support and Improvement efforts for ND’s low-performing schools, and is the 504 coordinator for the state of ND.

Kate Waechter is a program administrator in the Office of Academic Support at NDDPI. She has an undergraduate teaching degree from The University of North Dakota and her master's in curriculum and instruction from St. Catherine University. Before working for NDDPI, she taught for 11 years at several North Dakota schools in various roles, including Title I, elementary, and middle school math. In her role at NDDPI, Kate co-leads the ND Educational Hub and is the program lead for the Greater Math in ND grant program. In addition to this, she works closely with the NDREAs in the "Effective Math Instruction" work and is the REAP state coordinator.
