Closing the Mathematics Achievement Gap
Boosting academic achievement for children living in poverty has long been a goal for schools and districts, and it can be both challenging and daunting to close the achievement gap in mathematics. When students are engaged at every level and attaining fundamental math skills, they come to believe and know that they are good at math, which builds confidence. In this presentation, ExploreLearning will share their research and data from thousands of Title I students, to show how math fact fluency can make a difference in achievement and test scores.
