Over the years, Linda Fisher has rallied change-making staffs, ignited sparks in leadership teams, and observed the positive results in students in schools across the nation. Mrs. Fisher has a wealth of knowledge and experience in leading literacy which has been highlighted in key projects. As principal-in-residence at the San Diego County Office of Education, Linda teamed with key state leaders to create statewide principal training. Additionally, she developed, implemented and led a principal coaching cadre designed to enhance instructional leadership skills. The success of the model has led to its replication in districts and counties across the state. Linda has also collaborated with the University of San Diego, as part of a grant, to provide systematic schoolwide change for multiple districts. Her specialty in the project is as master trainer to the coaches who then work with the district and site principals and teams. Additionally, Linda is president of Learning Headquarters, a company dedicated to instilling standards-based systems in schools, districts, and counties across the nation. She consults with leadership teams, guiding them through the process, strategies, and research-based tools that have proven successful in transforming education.
