Frequently Asked Hotel Questions

1. How may I reserve a hotel room?

Hotel rooms are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and all rooms available are shown in real time.  To select a room, log into your account and go to your Dashboard. Remember that hotel selections are not confirmed reservations until paid in full.

2. When do I get my hotel confirmation number?

Approximately three weeks prior to the conference you will be notified by email to let you know that your confirmation number is available within your conference information.

3. Do I have to pay for my registration before I can book a hotel room?

No, we've changed our policy so attendees can reserve and hold a hotel room for 30 days, along with their unpaid registration. Hotel rooms and registrations are not confirmed until they are paid in full. Starting December 16, room reservations require payment in full at the time they are selected.

4. Why do I have to pay for my hotel in full?

Special rates have been negotiated with the conference hotels and they are holding large numbers of rooms out of their inventory. One of the contract provisions requires all payment to be made in full through a single invoice, paid by the conference organizers.

5. Can I transfer my hotel reservation?

Yes, the person who will be taking your place must have an account created on the National Title I Association website first. Next, complete and submit the official transfer request form.

6. How can I get a detailed breakdown of hotel charges?

After the conference a "Detailed Hotel Receipt" will be available through your conference account that will break down all charges by room fees and taxes.

7. What is the nearest airport to the conference location?

The Salt Lake City International Airport is a short drive, less than 15 minutes, from the Salt Palace Convention Center.

8. What are my transportation options?

Transportation is not provided to or from the convention center, airport or hotels. Conference hotels are a short distance and all within a 10-minute walk to the convention center. The Salt Lake City TRAX system has two stops in front of the convention center at Temple Square and Arena Stations. A taxi ride is also an option, topping out at approximately $5 to the convention center from the farthest hotel.

9. How do I book a reservation for someone else?

To book a hotel reservation for an individual other than yourself, log into their account on the National Title I Association website. The option to select a hotel room will be available through their dashboard.  All hotel reservations are confirmed only upon payment in full.

10. What if we have other questions?

You can reach the National Title I Conference staff Monday through Friday (7:00am-4:00pm Pacific) by email or at 800-256-6452.
