Ashley Stanky Martinez is an AVID Excel and AVID Elective consultant who provides purposeful Professional Learning while building meaningful relationships with teachers, schools, and districts nationwide. In addition to consulting, she facilitates and writes curriculum for strands at AVID Summer Institute, PATH Training, Tutor Training, and National Conference. Leading these trainings further allows her to encourage teachers to hone their craft and make informed and intentional decisions about instruction. Ashley does not believe there is an achievement gap that is lowering students’ success, but rather a low expectation gap. She believes in creating an intentional and academically rich learning environment for students, which allows them to become confident scholars and change their trajectory. Ashley’s mission as a consultant is to provide access to purposeful, diagnostic teaching and curriculum while setting high expectations for all scholars.
