Dr. Lisa Hinkelman is an educator, counselor, researcher & author who has spent fifteen years researching girls and educating counselors as a professor at The Ohio State University and as the Founder & CEO of the national non-profit Ruling Our eXperiences (ROX). ROX is committed to creating generations of confident girls who control their own relationships, experiences, decisions and futures. She is the author of the book, ‘Girls Without Limits: Helping Girls Achieve Healthy Relationships, Academic Success and Interpersonal Strength’ and the most recent research report ‘The Girls’ Index: New Insights Into the Complex World of Today's Girls’ a national survey of nearly 11,000 girls. Lisa has been honored as a Business First Top 40 Under 40, a Nominated Changemaker for the White House United State of Women, as a 2017 Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation Social Entrepreneur and as Smart Business’ 2018 Non-Profit CEO of the Year.
