Dr. Mary Anne Cooper received her doctorate from Wilmington University in innovation and leadership in 2011. Her dissertation focus around the impacts of culture and climate and academic achievement has continued to guide her work around ensuring all aspects of learning are in place for achievement. Dr. Cooper’s philosophy of teaching the whole child resonates in her role as principal of a preschool 3- third grade title one school. Our belief at SHES is that children have to be ready to learn emotionally.
