ESSA includes a provision that will require states and school districts to publish per-pupil expenditure data on school report cards beginning with the 2019-20 school year. This workshop session will introduce the audience to the new policy change, preview what this data might look like once it's public, and then spend the bulk of the time diving into the data to understand how it may transform education. We will leave plenty of time at the end of the workshop for participant questions and can provide specific information about the efforts in the 40+ states with which we work.
