Kysie Miao is an Associate Program Officer with the K-12 Education team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her work focuses on Education Innovation. She previously worked as a sixth grade teacher, math instructional leader, and project manager in Oakland Unified School District. Most recently, she was a founding member of the EF+Math Program at NewSchools Venture Fund, where she led the program’s co-design strategy. Kysie is originally from Seattle and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University.
