Shawn Crosier
Shawn Crosier brings extensive firsthand expertise on ensuring equitable access to AI education from his 15 years as a middle school teacher in Title I schools and his current role as Coordinator of Federal and State Programs for Scottsdale Unified School District. His experiences navigating the challenges faced by disadvantaged students in accessing technology and educational resources uniquely position him to identify barriers to AI literacy. Crosier's on-the-ground perspective from Title I classrooms allows him to provide authentic insights into the policies and funding solutions needed to bridge the AI access gap for low-income students. As an educator and administrator immersed in serving underprivileged populations, he offers a vital voice on this pressing equity issue in 21st century learning. Mr. Crosier focused his work and research as 2024 IEL Education Policy Fellowship Program Fellow on the topic of Ensuring A.I. Equity for All Students.
