As a consultant to the NYS Dept. of Ed., as a teacher on assignment, Wayne researched effective uses of technology with curriculum, and ran numerous workshops across the state related to technology and instruction. Wayne has presented at local, regional, and national educational conferences across the country. As an instructional tech coach in Sarasota, FL, he helped facilitate a one year, 27-point increase in student FCAT math scores, at a Title 1 school with a high ELL population. Working with schools to increase learning for MLL students, Wayne has worked closely with the SIOP® authorship team and has helped both large and small school districts across the country implement effective SIOP® implementations. Dedicated to increasing student achievement for over 30 years, he has served as a consultant, trainer, Account Executive, Area VP of Sales, and is currently the National Account Executive for Supplemental, Acceleration, and Assessment at Savvas Learning. Wayne has a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities, and is certified in Ed Leadership in Florida, and ESE K-12 (Special Education) in Florida and New York.
