As an adoptive mother and non-profit founder, Whitney lives in both worlds of parent and professional. Her 15 years of experience in the foster care and adoption field as a social worker and non-profit leader, plus her personal journey of fostering / adoption, gives her a unique perspective to work with both parents and professionals. Her passion is to help professionals and educators be better equipped to serve children experiencing the adverse effects of trauma.
