Providing Educational Stability for Students in Foster Care

This interactive session will provide recommendations of academic and non-academic supports to increase student success for students in foster care. The presenters will also outline Project Wrap Around, a joint project designed to ensure educational stability for students in foster care.

Dr. Katrinna Collins graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.A. degree in Communication; completed her M.A. degree in Counseling from Amberton University in Garland, TX; and received her Doctor of Education degree in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change from David Lipscomb University in Nashville. Dr. Collins is passionate about developing leaders and helping others exceed the potential they did not realize existed.
