Why Did I Get This Grade? Racial Bias and Grading

Racial bias and grading: the concept is to identify implicit racial bias when grading student work. We will show that using standards and rubrics to review student artifacts and work reduces bias in grading, thereby increasing student achievement for disadvantaged students. This will help reimagine and recommit to disadvantaged students in a fair and equitable way.
