Bonita Allen is a Parent Involvement In Education (PIE) consultant with the Pennsylvania Department of Education Division of Federal Programs and serves as a mentor for the Title I State Parent Advisory Council (SPAC). She has over 25 years of professional parent and family engagement experience. As a PIE consultant, Ms. Allen visits LEAs to deliver site-based training and technical assistance to teachers, staff, parents and families emphasizing the importance of working together to help children succeed and sharing strategies to rally family-school-community partnerships. Ms. Allen is also the President of the Pennsylvania PTA.
