As an educator for over 20 years, Delores Thompson has been able to observe and experience the ever-changing nature of our profession. Mrs. Thompson's experience has permitted her to see the impact of different theoretical approaches and interventions that positively impact teaching and learning. She has seen what works in schools and understands what is beneficial for students, their families, and the community. Her role in the field has been diverse. She has worked extensively with general education students, at-risk students, parents, GED students, Title I Programs, and community organizations. Delores developed enrichment programs and provided support for students, teachers, support staff and school administrators. She currently works as a Title I Supervisor over academic coaching and professional learning in the Cobb County School District in Georgia.
