Dr. Jenna Mancini Rufo

Dr. Rufo, an experienced former public school district leader, author, and educational expert is currently working with school systems, state departments of education, and disability organizations in over fifteen states and Australia. She provides professional development on inclusive practices, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), reducing disproportionality in special education and discipline, leadership for inclusion and equity, positive behavior intervention supports, and related topics. Notable projects include supporting the New Mexico Public Education Department's Special Education Transformation Team, serving as a state-wide professional developer for the Arkansas Department of Secondary and Elementary Education, and working with California's Supporting Inclusive Practices project. Dr. Rufo has served as an expert in matters of disability rights litigation at the state and federal level. She has a doctorate in educational leadership and a masters degree in administration, planning, and social policy from Harvard University.
