Dr. Brandi Todd is an esteemed educator with over 26 years of experience in Elementary Education. Holding vital roles such as classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and now Principal for the past 5 years, Dr. Todd is committed to student success and meeting the needs of all learners. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University, a Master’s degree in Education from Central Michigan University, and a Specialist’s degree in Education Leadership from Valdosta State University. In 2022, she earned her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Valdosta State University. Notably, through her hard work and dedication, Dr. Todd has led Midway Elementary School to be named a 2016 National Blue Ribbon School and guided her staff and students to be recognized as a 2023 National ESEA Distinguished School for Exceptional Student Performance and Academic Growth for two or more consecutive years. Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, she challenges staff to uphold high standards daily and fosters a data-driven culture while forming vital relationships with all stakeholders. Dr. Todd is known as a caring, compassionate, and supportive leader who empowers teachers and leaders to use student data for instructional improvements. In all of her actions, Dr. Todd continues to “Make Excellence Standard.”
