Michelle Udall

Michelle Udall serves as associate superintendent for the Arizona Department of Education. Her division includes School Improvement, the Office of Indian Education, Title IV-A and ESSER Funding. Prior to her work at the state education agency, Mrs. Udall served as a state legislator and a high school math teacher.

When Michelle worked in the legislature, the governor's office funded Project Momentum for a few Arizona school districts. Michelle saw the incredible growth and as the leader of school improvement for the state chose to integrate Project Momentum with the state agency's school improvement efforts. Michelle has been instrumental in the design, structure and funding of Project Momentum Arizona. Under her leadership, PMAZ has gone from serving 7 school districts to serving 58 districts across AZ.
