Dr. Samples has written 6 books on the topic of Family Engagement. She has presented at numerous workshops, speaks regularly, and holds a monthly National Conversation on the topic of Family Engagement. She has even helped a county (The Republic of Georgia) write its national policy on Family Engagement. She has a passion for the topic and it is evident in her work. Shanceler Terry has worked intimately with the Houston Community as an advocate for families and children. She has served as President of the Southeast Chapter of Grant Professionals Association, on the West Houston P-16 Council and is a current member of the West Houston Leadership Institute.
