Wendy Bruck has served as a special education educator and school counselor in Title 1 schools in AISD for over 20 years. Prior to that she was a therapist working with at-risk populations. Most recently, as the counselor for John C. Blazier Elementary School, she has facilitated the implementation of a school-wide Positive Behavior support program and has been the lead contact and school facilitator for both the No Place for Hate and Social Emotional Learning programs. This past year she helped lead the campus in partnership with Second Step/Committee for Children to implement the Second Step Bullying Prevention Unit.
